Out! (again)

Got released from the hospital finally. No one came to get me, though. Not even Kaa-san and Matt. Well, I guess they do have lots on their hands, with the duel monsters and floating eyes. Just old Roland, who apologized that they couldn’t come and called me Miss Ellie. I think Roland’s getting old.

Oh yes. There are floating eyes–or to be more specific, A floating eye in the sky. Kinda creepy, but kinda cool at the same time.

Roland dropped me off at the house and said something about making sure Yugi-oji and Jounouchi-san were ok, and that Matt and Drew should be inside, so I went in myself.

The house was completely empty. Didn’t look like there’d been any sign of struggle, though. There was a note on the table, written on Dad’s buisness correspondance stationary.

Oto-sama, Kaa-san.

Atemu said that I didn’t know what it was like having to live up to your parents’ legacy. To live with the idea, the thought, that somehow you had to surpass them. He asked me if I had ever felt that way. Overshadowed. Misunderstood.

The Orichalcos showed him how to break free.

Truth be told, I didn’t know what to say to that. I don’t care, about legacies and surpassing or being free. I just want to live. Atemu left after that, but it was strange. He patted me on my head and told me I was a good kid, and that I should stay in the hospital as long as possible.

I can’t imagine why.

Matt and Drew stopped by not long after. Matt becuase he wanted to make sure I was still on hospital premises, Drew because he had been ordered to follow Matt around as part of his Duel Monsters training. I dueled him. He’s progressing along quite well, as Oto-sama would say, although he’s still got a while to go. I didn’t mention Atemu to them, though.

Katsuro came after they left. He said he was sorry he didn’t save me before I got hurt. He’s stupid, because I’m perfectly fine!

I can’t wait to get out of here again, even with Atemu’s warning.

The screen blurs at me, which means I should be resting or something, but I’ve been away too long not to write.If I’m going to be confined, to bed, I should at least let my mind get some excercise.

Luckily, I’m not at the hospital this time. Kaa-san wouldn’t let Oto-sama. So he had to call a doctor to come see me. I’m really lucky I don’t need a blood transfusion or something. And…Katsuro saved me.

I don’t know the full story, because they’re trying to figure out what’s going on and trying to save Devynn, so I dont’ really have a chance to ask them right now.

It’s too quiet in here. I hate it.

Kaa-san took Katsuro and I to the beach a few days ago. I wanted Jo to come too, but she declined, with this sort of look at Matt. He had to go help Oto-sama at the company, though, so Jo ended up home alone.

Katsuro confessed to me that Jo does like Matt. She’ll just never admit it. Which is exactly the way Matt is, too, so it’s rather frusterating.

Apparently Devynn was looking for Matt while we were all out, too. I dunno why Jo looked so grudging when she said it though, and why Matt broke the paper plate in his hand.

I think i’m hallucinating, though. I’ve been seeing these strange creatures around town. Kinda like Duel Monsters, but less cuddly. Ugh, I REALLY hope I haven’t come down with something right now. It would really suck!!!

Jo and Katsuro are here!!!! I’m really excited. They’re sleeping right now (trying to fight the jet lag), but I can’t wait to show them around Domino!!!

Somehow, they’re all in my room, and Matt too. I dunno how that happened, but it was something along the lines of Katsuro doesn’t want to left in a room alone with Matt, so he came to join us, and Matt felt left out, so Jo made him come too. He’s sitting in the corner texting though. I was wondering who, but then Devynn texted me.

Your brother is fun to annoy.

Yeah, so that mystery was solved. I can’t wait for morning!! I think breakfast at Drew’s diner should work. I can introduce Katsuro to Devynn then too.

school updates

Well, dinner went quite well. Although we did end up texting other people half the time. But that’s ok, because Oto-sama left halfway through to yell at his employees again or something, and then got an odd look on his face when he heard Devynn’s last name. Anyways. I tried to teach her about Duel Monsters after dinner, but she and Matt kept making barbed comments at each other, so that didn’t work very well. Oh well, maybe next time. When Matt isn’t home.

School’s been boring lately. Matt’s failing Calculus. He’s trying to make sure Oto-sama doesn’t find out. Because Oto-sama would have a fit over the fact that the son of the great Seto Kaiba, the genius, is failing Calculus. Kaa-san’s more understanding, but she failed Calculus too.

Jo and Katsuro are coming to Bellewood. I don’t even know how that turn of events came around, but they are. Can’t wait!

Coming and Going.

Oji-san and Oba-san are going back to Domino tomorrow. It makes me kinda sad, but I’m also kinda excited, but for other reasons. Devynn’s coming over for dinner tomorrow. Kaa-san’s conned Oto-sama into it and everything. She’s even going to cook herself. I love Kaa-san’s cooking, but she’s scary when she’s in the kitchen. Oh well.

School was pretty boring, I didn’t have history today, so didn’t see her. Saw Drew, though. Said hi, but he seemed distracted.

I haven’t dueled in a while. Maybe Matt will take pity on me. Or maybe I can bug Oto-sama into letting me try out his new duel disk designs.
